ACCEL's expertise and John Lingenfelter's Small Block Chevy product development background have teamed up to build the most powerful small block Chevy multiport fuel injection intake available anywhere. Using a tuned plenum/runner combination the Super Ram provides a balanced inlet air charge to all eight combustion chambers. In addition the Super Ram's resonant pressure wave (producing the ram effect) is designed to occur at higher RPM. When the OEM TPI manifold is beginning to run out of steam, ACCEL's Super Ram starts to shine. At 4500 RPM the stock unit's torque has already started to drop off, ACCEL's Super Ram produces 25 ft-lbs more torque than a TPI manifold at 4500 RPM and higher RPMs. The performance gap then increases further. At 5800 RPM, Super Ram generates 68 ft-lbs more torque than the TPI manifold. Super Ram intake is equipped with EGR capability for late model applications.
