SLP's Cast Aluminum Siamesed Intake Runners are designed to replace the stock individual tube runners found on all Tuned Port Injection TPI 5.0L and 5.7L engines in the 1985 thru 1992 Camaros, Firebirds. and Corvettes. SLP runners are manufactured from aircraft quality cast aluminum and require no modifications to install. They are unique in being able to provide significant increases in top end power with- out negatively affecting low speed performance.

SLP Siamesed intake runners produce a torque level that is comparable to individual tube runners up to 3200 rpm. From 3200 to 5500rpm, the highflow SLP siamesed runners outperform individual runners by as much as 18 ft./lbs of torque and 18 horsepower. These runners maximize the area under the torque curve to improve overall vehicle performance. Runner volume air flow, and divider length were optimized through an extensive program of dyno testing and development. Each pair of runners has a tuned length divider in one leg only. This creates two distinct torque peaks and eliminates low speed torque losses. These intake runners will also give your TPI engine an aggressive look while still maintaining the GM appearance, and may be polished to a striking finish
